Business value

Office users today rely heavily on contextual on-object controls to help them quickly and effectively edit their objects, such as text and images, as efficiently as possible. This is extremely useful for new users who are unaware of what settings are available to them.

Feature details

In this new update, Power BI will provide contextual on-object controls for objects such as visuals and buttons, to help users make beautiful pixel-perfect reports quickly. In 2022 release wave 1, Power BI will allow authors to quickly select and subselect elements in charts, and edit the formatting or properties of those elements. Furthermore, we'll allow users to edit the visual directly inline, reducing the time to edit visuals and design your pixel-perfect reports.
