Exercise - Create and process a production order

In this exercise, you will manually create a production order for 10 pieces of Item 72708:

  • Use Production PRD_00000582
  • Use Item 72708 (You must have completed the previous exercise)
  • Set Order quantity to 10 pieces
  • Set the Delivery date to the current date plus four days
  • Set the Delivery time to 10:15 AM

Instructions

  1. In USMF, go to Production control > Production orders > All production orders.
  2. Select New production order to create a new production order.
  3. In the Item number field, enter or select 72708.
  4. Set the Quantity to 10.00.
  5. In the Time field, enter 10:15 AM.
  6. Select Create.
  7. Select Estimate.
  8. Select OK.
  9. Select Release.
  10. Select OK.
  11. Select Start.
  12. Select OK.
  13. Select Report as finished.
  14. Select OK.
  15. Select End.
  16. Select OK.
  17. Close all pages.
