Exercise - Adjust inventory items
This exercise uses the CRONUS sample company from the US version of Business Central. You might need to adjust the steps if you use the sample company from your country or region.
Scenario
On April 14, seven ANTWERP Conference Table items in the SOUTH warehouse were damaged by a forklift truck. As a result, you need to post a negative adjustment for the item on bin S-01-080.
Tasks
Post the negative adjustment for the ANTWERP Conference Table items.
Steps
Select the Search for page icon in the upper-right corner of the page, enter item journals, and then select the related link.
In the Posting Date field, enter 04/14/2020.
In the Entry Type field, select Negative Adjmt.
In the Item No. field, select 1920-S.
In the Location Code field, select SOUTH.
In the Bin Code field, enter S-01-080. If the Bin Code field is not displayed, you can add it through the Personalize function.
In the Quantity field, enter 7.
Select Post/Print > Post.
Select Yes.
