MSN Explorer: Report a phishing website or a mistakenly flagged phishing website

If you visit a website that you suspect may be phishing, you can report it to Microsoft for evaluation. Also, if Microsoft Phishing Filter flags a website as a phishing website, and you don't think that it is, you can inform Microsoft, and the website will be evaluated again.

Inform Microsoft that you believe a website is a phishing website

  1. Navigate to the website that you want to report as a phishing website.

  2. On the navigation bar, click Safety, point to Phishing Filter, and then click Report phishing website.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Inform Microsoft that you don't believe a website flagged by Phishing Filter is a phishing website

  1. On the BlockedThis is a reported phishing website page, click Report that this is not a phishing website.

  2. Follow the on-screen instructions.
