"Not available in your region" error message when you try to watch a video

You may see this error message in the video thumbnail pop-up window if you try to watch a video on the website after moving from one country or region to another.

If your computer still retains a cookie that tells that you're still in the other location, you may not be able to watch videos that aren't available in that location because of copyright issues, even if the video is normally available in your current location.

To fix this problem, delete your computer's cookies, so that Bing Video rediscovers your correct location. Follow the steps for your browser:

Windows Internet Explorer 6

  1. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.

  2. Click Delete Cookies.

  3. Click OK.

  4. Try to watch the video again.

Windows Internet Explorer 7

  1. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.

  2. Click the General tab, and then click Delete.

  3. Select the Cookies check box, and then click Delete.

  4. Click Close, and then click OK.

  5. Try to watch the video again.

Windows Internet Explorer 8

  1. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.

  2. Click the General tab, and then click Delete.

  3. Click Delete Cookies, and then click Yes.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Try to watch the video again.

Firefox

  1. If you use Microsoft Windows, click the Tools menu, and then click Options.

    If you use Mac OS X v10.4 or later, click the Firefox menu, and then click Preferences.

  2. Click Privacy.

  3. Click Show Cookies or remove individual cookies, and then click Remove All Cookies.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Try to watch the video again.
