With general ledger allocations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you can allocate costs and revenues between G/L accounts and dimensions.

You can define as many allocation accounts as you need. Additionally, you can create fixed or variable allocation keys. Variable allocation keys depend on changeable values, such as the number of employees, and they can use statistical accounts to calculate the variable keys.

You can use allocation accounts on document and journal lines.
