I edited an answer and it removed all of the line breaks and URLs that were previously in the answer. This was edited after it worked correctly. [This is a test][1] [1]: http://example.com

I'm posting a comment because I can't post "questions". Says I need a tag, add a tag, says it doesn't match ("uwp"). The deterioration in the docs has become rampant. Is this what "open source" is about?
@jasonwarren can you provide a link to the post you were trying to edit? I could not reproduce the issue after trying with some posts. Thank you very much!
This submitted post is an example. I have fixed the answer in the original thread.
Good day Jason ,
I cannot reproduce your the issue you describe. Please add screenshot to show the problem and explain what did you expected to see instead of what is shown on your image.
When I edit your current original message I get this (seems fit to your message as it look like in the thread) :
Note! If the issue is related to HTML code which you see, when you try to edit the message, then there is an extension which you can use, which fix this bug (this is a Tampermonkey code which can be used on all common browsers)
We are working on all the encoding issues with the editor. Sorry for the trouble.
