Remove a forum thread from search engines

Hi all,

Is there a way of removing a forum thread that is appearing on search engines such as Google? Or is it a case of completely closing the forum account in order to delete the forum thread? I wanted to amend one of my past forum threads that have been locked for sometime from the Windows 7 Archived Forums.

Kind regards,

RocknRollTim

@TracyMyles @saldana-msft I can only apologise for the delay in getting back to you as I didn't get an email notification to say anyone had responded to my forum thread. The thread I wish to remove is via the following link https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ada64308-b4b0-4657-856d-9a57d4338976/windows-7-keeps-going-to-sleep-on-startup?forum=w7itproperf as it has my name (not my full name) in the initial post of the thread and can no longer edit any of my posts in the thread itself to prevent it from appearing in search engines such as Google. I made the initial mistake of including my name at the time of when I hosted the thread and was hoping that there was a way on the forums to correct this problem.
