Comment Not Working

This feedback is the same as I submitted yesterday. Simply put, I cannot add a comment to my own thread. The preview shows nothing after I input my comment.

Please give me a hand here.

Again , the tag is inappropriate because acceptable comments are so sparse.

I am experiencing this as well. I marked an answer to my question as "accepted answer" and wrote a comment on it. But when I press the submit button, nothing happens except the button turns grey for a second.

The issue was persistent on both Firefox and Chromium (I am using Ubuntu). By looking at network traffic, I can see that the POST request returns successful 200 (add.json).

I don't see any buttons to "show comments", as mentioned in one answer. I can view other comments normally.

@LauriLehman-8626 can you provide the link to the question or a screenshot of what you see so we can investigate further? Thanks!

I don't know if it is relevant, but I have also added a link to the comment. The length of the comment is close to the 1000 characters limit, but I have shortened it so that it doesn't exceed it.

It seems that the problem has fixed itself and I was able to make a comment. :)

I suspect that the issue had something to do with the character limit. After pasting a link the "number of characters left" didn't seem correct. I made comment a bit shorter and this probably fixed the issue.

I just posted a "test" comment and also "test" answer to your thread without any problems. Are you posting text or code body reply? Make sure the reply contains at least 10 chars of text otherwise the minimum requirement is not met.

@RogerSchlueter-7899, since you reported the issue, we have fixed the fact that users can try to post even when they are logged.

If you post a comment and cannot see it, make sure your comment is not hidden after posted. You can click the Show button if so to display the comment.

Same happens to me. Show is already functioning, the reply doesn't work and if I try the box below, for Write an Answer, it sends me to the following page:

I tried logging in again, no help.

But this page works!

It seems to be a problem when sending code snippets.

@TimonYang, Hi, it's a contact list dialogue (for adding, deleting, showing) on a top tab, which is a member of a bottom tab. This navigation has been working fine for years.

The problem began when I added the IsEnabled={Binding NameTextChanged} line below:
<Button
Margin=1,2,2,2
Command={Binding SaveContactCommand}
FontAttributes=Bold
IsEnabled={Binding NameTextChanged}
Style={StaticResource PageActionButton}
Text=Save />

It threw an exception, showing me there was a binding problem. The earlier code was:
BindingContext = new ManageContactsViewModel();
_mcvm = (ManageContactsViewModel)BindingContext;
and I altered it to get
_mcvm = new ManageContactsViewModel();
BindingContext = _mcvm;
which passed originally, but suggested I might have a more general binding problem.
The xaml includes
x:DataType=contact:ManageContactsViewModel>
ManageContactsViewModel inherits from ContactLoadingViewModel, which was working for other tabs previously.
But when I take this tab out of the bottom Contacts tab, there is still an exception.
