Increasing number of spam posts

Recently, it seems that spammers who regularly pollute the MSDN forums are now spamming the Q&A site.

It's time that Microsoft took better, more effective, proactive steps to prevent spamming. Simply reacting to spam posts by deleting them while the spammers switch to a different account to continue their activities just isn't good enough.

Where is the much vaunted Microsoft AI?

@RLWA32-6355 we have preventive measures in place (there is a lot of spam that is coming that nobody gets to see). Spam management is an area we continue to invest while avoiding getting too many false positives on the spam moderation queue, which other customers are complaining about.

Thanks a lot for the feedback and helping us to keep improving.

I am going to set this to Completed as this is an ongoing effort with no end date.

I understand that preventing spam is an unending task.

While it is disappointing to see that spammers have been successful, in all fairness it seems that the volume of spam successfully posted to Q&A is significantly less than what is posted to the MSDN forums.
