How to sort emails to folders in new outlook?

I just switched to the new outlook and can no longer sort my emails through the CTL+shift+V shortcut that I typically use - it's creating new folders vs. putting the emails in my current folders. Looks like my current folders aren't in the right place either. Please help! Sorting my inbox is critical to my work management process.

If you need this feature, it's suggested that you could turn off New Outlook button to switch back to Legacy Outlook.
