Locked out of original tenant admin

So several years ago I setup this test tenant and its sat unused for a bit, but we now have use for it once again. I have 2 global admin accounts, one I can access, and the other which has an Identity of 'MicrosoftAccount' that I used to setup the tenant. An example of what the username is something_outlook.com#EXT#@somethingoutlook.onmicrosoft.com I cannot reset the password using my other Global admin account and self service password reset is not enabled, I also can't do forgot my password. I do have access to the @live.com account that is associated with the user. Any suggestions?

    @Patrick Williams Thank you for reaching out to us, As I understand you are trying to reset the password of an Global admin account (which is a Microsoft account example live.com or hotmail.com), when you click on the reset password option on the portal, its not letting you to change it.

    This is by design, even as a Global admin account we cannot reset the password of a guest account (who is a global admin in your directory), same has been documented here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/fundamentals/users-reset-password-azure-portal
