I am having trouble with activating Microsoft 365 after an upgrade. Every time I launch Office 365, it prompts me to activate. I am using MacOS Sonoma 14.1.2 and Office for MAC 16.80. Even after restarting my Mac, I still encounter the same issue. Can someone help me troubleshoot this problem?

    Hi @Philippe Delsart

Every time I launch Office 365, it prompts me to activate.

Is there any other error message after you sign your licensed account in Office for Mac? If so, please take a screenshot and share it with us.

    • I suggest you sign out your account from Office for Mac, close and quit all Office apps.
    • Go to Spotlight > Keychain Access, search for Office, right click to delete.
    • Then restarting Office, sign your licensed account back to your Office apps.

If the steps above do not work, I suggest you download the license removal tool and use it to activate Office.
