Data validation in Microsoft Visio

Hello, I am trying to get data validation to edit just the outline of a shape. Is this an option? The goal is to change the color of the outline based on data we have in the excel import. Thanks in advance for your reply.

    There is a "Data Graphics" feature in Visio, but it just can work on text color and fill color.

    If you want to change the online color, you may set a formula in "ShapeSheet" ( Such as a IF formula for LineColor under Line Format section) for specific shapes.
