We have been using a sharepoint site, that we setup, for years and all of a sudden we can't access the site anymore.

We get the following error message when trying to access the site.

Error details: Error: Error initializing application. Error: TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'some')

How can we get access to our site/files?

We've got the same thing happening today with two of our sites. Site starts to load home.aspx then fails. Work around for us right now is to add /Shared%20Documents/Forms/AllItems.aspx to the end of the site base URL to get access to at least the files. https://ourtenant.sharepoint.com/sites/sitename/Shared%20Documents/Forms/AllItems.aspx

If home.aspx is deleted, get a 404 error. The file hasn't been changed since the site was created in 2018. Odd.

Updated I've deleted home.aspx in Site Contents/Site Pages, made a new one, right click > Set as Home Page, problem solved. Microsoft def changed something. I've got a ticket open with them.

Same here, on at least 2 separate sites. All other pages (and direct links to lists and libraries) load as they should, but the Home.aspx page will not load, even not when restoring the page to the initial version. IIRC, this page has always just contained a news carrousel, a text section and maybe a list of links to external sites. Pretty basic boilerplate stuff in any case.

Microsoft must have changed something to trigger this SPFX Load error.

    Hi @Joseph Bennett,

Based on the error message you provided, it seems like there might be an issue with the initialization of the SharePoint application. One possible solution is to try clearing the cache and cookies in your web browser. If that doesn't work, you can try accessing the site from a different web browser or device.

If the issue still persists, it's also possible that there may be an issue with the SharePoint site itself, in which case you may need to contact Microsoft support to help you check form the backend.

Same here. I've restored an earlier version using our 3rd party backup and it also won't load.
