Current Branch Site hardware migration - Can I keep the same Site code?

I am looking at moving our site to new hardware by installing SCCM from scratch with a better drive layout, more memory etc., then migrate only what we need to keep. I remember reading somewhere you can use to same site code when rebuilding, and once you decommission the old serer the clients will auto find the new server. As mentioned above the migrated site is current branch.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    Per my experience, yes, we can use site Backup and Restore method and use the FQDN and IP address of the new server are the same as the old one. Helpful articles for your reference:
