OneNote automatic save or rebuild searchindex

Hello,

when we use OneNote from Office365 in non-persistent VDI/AVD-infrastructures and the users connects to a new host, the searchindex shows only a few results.

We have to rebuild the searchindex manually. Which means 10 or more minutes to wait.

Is there a way for an automatic rebuild? Or is there a way to save the searchindex, to use it on the next VDI-VM or AVD-Host?

I hope anyone has good ideas?

best regards

    Hi @Thomas Bender (NAK Westdeutschland)

Via searching online, there is a connection between OneNote searchindex and cache. Here is a thread: OneNote is not indexing you may have a look.

The cache location must be on a non-removal hard disk, but you are using non-persistent virtual machines. In my opinion, we are unable to save the cache.

Besides, I do not find any command or script to rebuild the searchindex automatically.

    Thanks for your understanding.
