Potential issue with Edge on multiples websites/services

Hello,

I have a problem with Edge that started recently. I can no longer watch Netflix, as I keep getting the same error (D7355-1203), which seems to be related to the browser. Additionally, sites requiring Cloudflare captchas refuse to verify when I check the box. In short, several things stopped working suddenly.

I've tried everything on my end: disabling extensions one by one, using private browsing, reinstalling Edge, and using the Edge repair tool, but nothing works. I've also tried other browsers like Firefox and have had no issues there. I really like Edge and would prefer to continue using it, but I've exhausted all my options and I'm stuck (short of completely reinstalling Windows, which seems excessive for a browser issue).

If anyone has a solution, whether it's modifying the registry (regedit), changing a flag in Edge, or disabling an option, I would greatly appreciate any help.

Which version of Edge do you use? Could you please open this page edge://settings/system in Edge and check if Use graphics acceleration when available is enabled? If it's enabled, disable it and test if Netflix can play.

Hello @Yu Zhou-MSFT , disabling the graphics acceleration make it so Netflix is now working again. I didn't changed this settings so I guess it was working with it enabled before. It could be a fix for this issue but sadly it doesn't solve the Cloudflare captcha issue where everytime I encounter one, it will say "Failed" whenever I click on it. Any idea on this one? Thanks a lot.

Does the same issue happen in Chrome? Could you please provide the URL which can reproduce the Cloudflare captcha issue? Besides, please also provide screenshots of the issue and the Edge version you're using.

Hello @Yu Zhou-MSFT , thanks for helping me again, the issue doesn't happen in Chrome actually, it's only on Edge. Concerning the URL, it was a streaming website for my serie since Netflix wasn't working anymore (https://filmoflix.to/serie/comedie-s/1875-the-office/3-saison/1-episode.html) when I try to watch any episode, itll ask me to validate the captcha and when I click it, I'll get this error :

I also have this issue on other website using Cloudflare captcha (torn.com for example). Both website are working on Chrome for example.

For the version, it's the Version 125.0.2535.51 (Official build) (64-bit)

I test the website on my Edge and it verifies automatically and successfully. Could you please open this page edge://settings/reset in Edge and reset Edge to default settings to see if it can fix the issue?

Besides, do you use any VPN? If yes, please disable it and try again.

Hello @Yu Zhou-MSFT , VPN was the first idea I got but had no extensions that did that and no software either. I followed your link and did the reset and now it magically working again! Even after adding back my extensions and all, so its weird. Any idea what would cause the issue just for information? Anyways, thanks a lot as the issue is now solved! :)

For the cause of the issue, I can only say maybe it's related to some settings in Edge but can't tell what exactly it is.
