To whom it may concern:

The Process Explorer "Virus Total" column functionality is not working correctly. Most of the processes are displaying "Unknown" even after clicking the check menu item 'Options -> VirusTotal.com -> Submit Unknown Executables'.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Process Explorer with no success. Multiple antivirus scans from several different providers have come back negative.

What is causing this issue and when will it be resolved?

For some reason the problem resolved itself for me too.

I believe it may be the limited requests for hash analysis that virustotal imposes and I ended up being blocked from using it.

That's what it says in their post. I don't know if this is the case, if anyone knows please let me know.

The 4 requests/minute limitation of the Public API is too low for me, how can I have access to a higher quota? – VirusTotal

    other methods you can do.

    1. runs as admin
    2. download a new version of the program
    3. check if can acesse the site o virustotal.com if not the problem can be your dns. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-reset-the-hosts-file-back-to-the-default-c2a43f9d-e176-c6f3-e4ef-3500277a6dae
