Cannot install 2021-02 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2016 for x64-based Systems (KB4601318) - Error 0x80073701

Question

Hello,
Cannot install CU KB4601318 on server 2016

Getting next error:
Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80073701: Security Update for Windows (KB4601318).

I tried to install stand alone package (MSU): "windows10.0-kb4601318-x64_0e3c1261a7405cf824f2ab40c2cfc0efff18214b"
And getting same error: 0x80073701

Looks like it has been removed from catalog. https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/

I tried to create support request with no success, because they want money!
After i fill details of step 1
They ask a contract at step 2 -
Step 2: Tell us about the type of support you need
Two option there, Add Contract or Add Subscription
I frustrated!

Thanks for your posting on this forum.

Please help to confirm whether the windows server 2016 client has installed KB4601392 or not. It seems that this issue is known.

If yes, installation of the Cumulative Update from Windows Update might not progress past 24%. However the issue was resolved in KB5001078. Follow the below link and it will help you out.
