To wshawnmelton I just want to provide feedback to your post. I followed your instruction but I still get the same exact error message (as it is shown on the image at the top of this page). I uninstalled SQL SERVER 2019 following this youtube link: https://youtu.be/JXXZsYF-irs successfully. When I tried to follow a re-install than this error start showing up. I still don't find any solution. Thanks

There is a solution there requiring adding 2 registry entries. Worked for me.
