Azure charged me

I was trying out the azure platform sometime back with the free trial and deployed a website which i deleted the same day. I deleted all the other resources that i created to avoid billing. After few days, I tried to remove my credit card but i could not because it said one subscription is active. I tried to cancel it but i could not find the option to cancel the subscription as it was shown on different articles and documentation for azure. The subscription was still active. I thought i'll leave it since i had deleted all the resources. Today when i was checking my bank transaction details. To my surprise, Azure charged me 67.xxUSD!!!! For what? I logged in to the portal again, this time, the cancel option was there. I cancelled it, now when im trying to remove my card, it says i cannot because the subscription is still active. Im very disappointed by azure service and will be never use the platform again neither recommend anyone nor my company to use any of its services. I need refund. Thanks

I also faced some issues regarding charges but after a support request, I got a call from Azure team and my issue was resolved in a professional manner and got refund. It is not issue with Azure, all are new and learning, but once you approach them they understand your problem guide you and resolve it.

I spent three weeks disputing mine and they told me they’d give me a $250 credit! I never used the service (never got it to work) and they say I owe almost $2,000!!!

Same here. These predators have this ultra scam going on. They hook you in with a "free" trial and then start charging you up the roof once that expires. The default should be to STOP BILLING and stop the services, not gouge the customers and have them go through the insane maze of a platform to cancel services. They're wanting to charge me $2,000!!

Hello, I work for an IT company here in Germany. We are currently working with Azure and will soon have 4 colleagues finish the learning paths of Developer Associate AZ 204... We are trying to reach the Gold Membership status.

Is it possible to reach this status and is it still available given the pandemic or is it closed, disenabled or put on pause at the moment until further notice? and How are the 500,000 USD generated?

Recently had this issue with the free subscription as well, I'm currently in contact with azure.

We all need to band together and sue these bastards for predatory practices. The default free-trial termination should be to STOP BILLING and stop the services, not gouge your customers and have them jump through hoops to cancel the services so we'd stop getting billed for absolute CRAP service.

I have incurred some cost while trying out DDOS on pay as you go subscription, Is it possible to request a waiver? Please help.
