Microsoft Teams - Whiteboard - Paste function

I'd really like to be able to paste an image into the Whiteboard so that I can prep a question. Using the app or typing in a text box takes too long, whereas pasting in a pre-prepared set up could take less than a second, however it currently doesn't let you paste.
Please can this function be added.

    Yep. Crazy to lose such an important and key feature. Previously there was an issue also, though. I wasn't able to copy a Teams image and paste it into Whiteboard, but I could paste it from SNIP which was super-handy.

    Whiteboard caused my computer to crash (randomly, but often) when sharing with students anyway. So, I started to use SHARED PowerPoints as a solution. If find that more useful when sharing with small groups of students.

    just fix this. pasting text is not convenient if you want to paste a screenshot / picture from clipboard.

    All,

    Reviewing this thread, it is very obvious this is an important feature to many of you. I suggest taking this over to the Microsoft Teams Feedback channel at https://aka.ms/TeamsFeedback and let them know directly about your suggestion plus everyone who has commented on this thread can also upvote that specific feedback item once it is posted.

    That will be the quickest way to get the feedback directly to those developing the Whiteboard app.

    @Katrina Morris ,

    As we are mainly responsible for general issue of Microsoft Teams. Whiteboard is not included in Teams and not supported in the Q&A currently, I would change the tag to be “not-supported”.

    Besides, I find an article about how to add pictures to Whiteboard for reference: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/microsoft-whiteboard-help-d236aef8-fcdf-4b5e-b5d7-7f157461e920#bkmk_20.

    I also tested in the Whiteboard app and found that you can paste text on text box conveniently.

    I expect what happened is they just converted the app to what was the code in Teams Whiteboard for compatibility-sake. BUT the reason I used the app with Teams was because you couldn't paste from the clipboard.

    Again, Shared PowerPoints work as an alt. The only issue is there is a longer delay in refresh and you get little update tags on everything new (annoying).
