What's coming in ADO.NET?

Well, I finally made it to Channel 9.

Sort of.

Think of it my appearance here as a cameo masterpiece á la Alfred Hitchcock, except I didn't do any direction (not that there is any in these videos) or any camera work (can you say 'handycam?') or any scriptwriting (yeah, right). I'll let you decide how I did on buzzword bingo scorecard given my whole 20 seconds of fame.. ;-)

The video I'm referring to, 'What's coming in ADO.NET' is the first of a series of interviews with the Data Programmability team (that's the team I'm in - see Sam Druker's post) to be published over the next few weeks. In this first installment, Pablo Castro (who provides some context to the video here), Mike Pizzo and Tim Mallalieu show what's coming in the 'Orcas' release of Visual Studio.

Robert Scoble was the interviewer for this one. He asked some good questions. I think my favourite was the question to Mike Pizzo "How many data object models are you going to come up with anyway?'
