my universal citizen

Have you ever met someone and asked them where they're from, but they take about 10 or seconds to respond? And they eventually respond with something like, "you mean, where I'm from? Or, do you mean, where I'm from?" I'm one of those people. I don't know where I'm from. I'm here, and that's pretty much it.

One of my new favorite people on the universe, Rami (is what we shall call her to protect her identity), is one of me. And in speaking with her I realized how much we were the same, in that we were totally different. I know that sounded like it made no sense, but that's the truth - what we have in common is that we're different. I had one of the most hair-raising mind-bending conversations with Rami a few weeks ago, and honest to God, it was like I was talking to myself. It was as though as I was looking into a mirror and talking to myself. And all we spoke about is how different we are. And, no, I'm not making myself sound like, you know, "I'm the man". And, she isn't "the man". But, it's so rare to meet someone and say, whoa, I didn't know there was another human out there who thinks, like I do.

I think I like all 'Rami's. My favorite non-cousin cousin (that's someone I call my cousin, who'd might as well be my cousin, but isn't) is also a 'Rami'.

I'll spare you the details, but mad props to Su for introducing me to my (alter-)ego. Rami, you're teh awesomes. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed my short albeit sweet revelation with you. Your charming personality is scaringly awesome. Anddddddddd, I'm going to shut up now.

PS: Watch out - ai's bringing sexy back. Very soon. Stay tuned...
