Windows Azure Plugin for Eclipse with Java v1.8.1 公開

Windows Azure クラウドサービスにデプロイできる Java アプリケーションの開発をサポートする Windows Azure Plugin for Eclipse with Java の最新版、2013 年 2月版 CTP (v1.8.1) が公開されました。こちら 2012 年 11 月版 のアップデートになります。

機能追加として、インストールに含める必要のある JDK やアプリケーションサーバー、コンポーネント類を Windows Azure ブロブストレージ にアップロードしておき、そちらを指定して直接デプロイすることが可能になりました。また、Windows Azure Libraries for Java のアップデートが含まれています。
