In past years, the PDC has unveiled Microsoft .NET, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and other significant milestones in the evolution of the Microsoft platform. This year, you’ll hear more details about our services platform, the future of Windows, mobility, and our next generation of developer tools. And there are always a few surprises.
Microsoft Chief Software Architect, Ray Ozzie, will be delivering one of the keynote speeches at this year’s PDC. Some of you might remember that Ray shared a about the future of the Platform at MIX08 back in March. Among other things, he provided a brief glimpse into a comprehensive services offering designed to complement our client and server development platforms. Last month, Live Mesh, the first piece of the services offering emerged at the Web 2.0 conference. We are really looking forward to seeing what Ray has to share at PDC in Los Angeles.
