The goal of this 3hr session is to improve attendees’ knowledge and skills in relation to identifying and converting opportunities associated with business process automation. The session will use the initial stages of the Microsoft Solution Selling Process as a framework for presenting content and discussing skills that assist achieve this goal. The session is NOT focussed on describing product features and benefits – rather it discusses business process automation capabilities that Partners can provide to customers to improve their businesses. There are no “canned demos”. Previous attendees at either day 1 or day 2 of Solution Based Selling will have familiarity with the framework being used – however they are still encouraged to attend as all examples and discussions are new and specific to the field of business process automation.

In the first issue of Information Week* this year, 300 business-technology professionals were asked - 'which business priorities will your IT organisation implement or support in 2006.' The response was definite. Their top priority - 'Simplify or optimise business processes.' The Microsoft 'Spotlight on Business Process and Integration' is your opportunity to learn why organisations are focusing on their business processes to not only gain competitive advantage, but also deliver greater value to their customers. Speakers from Microsoft, Data#3, Dimension Data and local management consulting group Carpe Diem Consulting will be discussing not only why business process improvement and integration is important, they will also showcase a number of local Queensland organisations who are gaining value from optimising their business processes. After the session, Microsoft and representatives from Microsoft Gold Certified Partners Data#3 and Dimension Data will be on hand to discuss how we can assist your organisation to deliver greater value through business process improvement.
