Intel Developer Forum 2010
I’ll be attending the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco, CA from September 13 to September 15th and will be blogging about the conference and some of the sessions I’ll be attending.
Microsoft will be presenting, alongside Intel engineers, in several sessions. I’m particularly interested to see session SFTS006 – Parallel Programming for the Mainstream with Intel® Parallel Studio and Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. As processor core counts continue to grow year-over-year, it becomes increasingly important for developers to leverage parallel programming in order to maximize the performance of their software.
I’m a little bit of a parallelism and multi-core junkie and so it will be very interesting to learn more about the future of multi-core, from the smallest devices to the Cloud, one thing is for sure; parallelism is the “new normal”.

SFTS006 Parallel Programming for the Mainstream with Intel® Parallel Studio and Microsoft Visual Studio
