New Editor for Australian MSDN Flash
So, it's official - I will be the editor of the Australian MSDN Flash.
Hi, all, and welcome to another issue of the MSDN Flash.
What do you think of a "Microsoft.NET Developer Idol" competition - a marvellous idea, yeah? We all have a song that we connect with on some level. A song, that whether we consciously realise it or not, resonates with our life or a moment in our life.
So for today, I'd like you to focus on finding a song that we can individually sing to each time we hear it on the radio. A song that reminds us of the times we have shared together here through the MSDN Flash.
Why do you need a song to remember Ms MSDN Flash by? Well, while this is a moment of mixed emotions for me, I am delighted to share the news that I have decided to follow an opportunity in the regional level developer team in Singapore.
This might be a farewell, but it's by no means goodbye. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for the endless enthusiasm, constructive feedback and support you have shown me over the past few years and I hope to catch up with you all soon when I venture back under the guise of my new role.
So who is the lucky new MSDN Flash editor? None other than your very own Frank Arrigo . For those of you who know Frank, I think you'll agree he is the embodiment of community. But I'll let you be the judge of that yourselves when you meet him in the next edition of the MSDN Flash.
Until next time, happy coding.
I am taking over from the delightful Caroline Price who is heading over to a new adventure in her career. You can see more examples of her handiwork at the MSDN Flash Archives.
So, how did I score this fantastic gig - some say I didn't run fast enough when we were looking for an alternative, others would say I am always the first to volunteer for more work. You be the judge in the coming weeks,
