Microsoft Live Writer In Beta

I just read on TechCrunch about Microsoft Writer, a free blogging tool that lets you author posts for a variety of blogging formats and with integrated support for loads of services.

Livejournal, MSN Spaces, and Movable type are some of the supported blogging interfaces and this sweet sweet free software.  Interestingly, Live Writer also supports extensions that can be developed using the Live Writer SDK.
