Cloud Power

Microsoft Australia is pleased to support ADMA’s Cloud Computing forum which will cover the latest trends and innovations in the world of cloud computing.

Cloud Computing also raises number of important policy questions around how people, organisations and governments handle information and interactions in this environment.

The forum will be opened by the Minister for Privacy, Brendan O’Connor. In his presentation, Minister O’Connor will provide an overview of the Privacy Act and outline the key changes that will be introduced as part of the review as they relate to Cloud Computing.

The forum will include panels which will feature Microsoft’s Jeff Bullwinkel and Gianpaolo Carraro.

In the words of Microsoft’s General Counsel, Brad Smith “Cloud computing continues to grow exponentially, as more and more people, businesses and governments experience its powerful potential – from creating incredible cost savings to increased agility and speed for deploying new software solutions, just to name a few.”
