SQL Academy is returning this week, bringing you a SQL Server Analysis Services session by Bob Duffy on June 26th. 

SSAS 101 – Training Overview

This Session in an Introduction to Data Modelling and Analysis Services 2008 with a focus on people who are experienced with the SLQ Server database engine but may be newer to Analysis Services. We will be running through the basics of modern dimensional modally theory as applicable to SQL 2008 and then an end to end demonstration of building Analysis Services Cubes using Visual Studio 2008.

In addition we will be announcing some of the exciting BI enhancements being released shortly such as Project Gemini and other enhancements in SQL 2008R2.
