Tough Choice - PDC or ESC Boston?

So in case you missed it - Mike Hall has posted some fun about the upcoming PDC 2008 in Los Angeles... along with a video on engadget. Pretty funny, IMHO. He will not be at PDC, but I will, along with Dion Hutchings, the TPM for Windows Embedded Compact, and Cuong Pham, the TPM for Windows Embedded Standard. we'll be on hand throughout the conference, attending sessions, and presenting a couple too. you can also find us in the Microsoft Product Pavilion. I will be blogging my experiences along the way! Stay tuned!

BUT...if you're absolutely dying to see Mike Hall, smile_sarcastic you can see him at the Embedded Systems Conference in Boston the same week. Mike will be presenting a couple sessions - one on developing next Generation systems using native or .NET code, and one on Distributed Embedded Systems. Olivier Bloch will also be presenting at the conference on the build process in Windows CE

we've also got several other sessions going on that week... here's a complete list.

Oh, and most Notably - my counterpart, Walt Perry will be doing his 1st embedded conference speaking session at ESC! Walt's an experienced speaker from the desktop/enterprise world, but this will be his first speaking session for "little windows"! He'll be going into a deep dive on developer considerations for Windows Embedded Standard. if you're at ESC, you simply have to go cheer him on! I wish I was going to be there! Here's to you Walt! beerI am sure you'll do fine... smile_shades

So you see, it's truly a tough choice... you'll be happy either way, I'm sure. Lots of great content at both shows! we look forward to seeing you there!

Hope to see you there!
