Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007及Windows SharePoint Services 3.0二零零九年十月累积更新包(October 2009 Cumulative Update Server-Package)已经发布，相比之前的版本，除了修复了大量错误之外还加入了新的Pre-Upgrade Checker规则，可以帮助客户将来更平滑的转移到SharePoint 2010。

新服务器安装步骤

以下为当前服务器场版本在SP2之前的推荐补丁顺序：

  1. Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 SP2 及 语言包
  2. Office SharePoint Server 2007 SP2 及 语言包
  3. WSS 3.0 2009年10月累积更新包
  4. MOSS 2007 2009年10月累积更新包

从2009年4月累积更新包之后，没有安装SP1或SP2的服务器场将无法打新版本的累积更新补丁。这些未打Service Pack的服务器场已经超过了支持期。

打完补丁之后，运行SharePoint产品和技术配置向导，或执行“psconfig -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -wait”。在服务器场中的所有服务器上都需要执行这一步骤。

升级完成之后，服务器场内容数据库的版本为12.0.6520.5000。
