Visual Studio 2010Beta 2 is now available for MSDN subscribers, with general availability coming on Wednesday, Oct 21st.  This is a ‘go live’ release as well, so it can be licensed for developing and deploying production applications.

Save the date! Beta 2 includes a streamlined Client Profile as well as simplified SKUs for the Visual Studio editions.  And you may have heard about the streamlined version of Team Foundation Server (TFS) called TFS Basic, which will be included in all Visual Studio 2010 editions.

Along with this is the announcement of the release date for VS 2010 and .NET Framework 4.0 of March 22, 2010!
