Best practices for accessing data!

I've just listened to Jimmy Nilsson (www.jnsk.se/weblog) talking about some of his recommendations regarding accessing data. Very impressive, and motivating to hear someone who loves what he does. Jimmy discussed O/R-mapping, design-patterns, transactions, isolation levels as well as Enterprise Services. I would absolutely recommend visiting his blog and see what else Jimmy does. I also would like to direct a special thanks to SweNUG (Swedish .NET User Group) for arranging the presentation, and I'm looking forward to similar activites in the future.
