Amazon.com have got a Portable Media Centers page up with lots of info.

Plus you can now preorder two models.

First, the Samsung YH-299 20GB Portable Media Center - 20GB, 3.5” LCD and USB 2.0

And secondly the Creative Labs 20GB Zen Portable Media Center - 20GB and 3.8” LCD

 

Both retail for just under $500, but no ship date specified yet.

It's starting to get really exciting!  Both can store up to 80 hours of video, be that TV, movies or home movies, over 10,000 songs and up to 100,000 photos - not all at the same time I'd imagine though!
