What is Source Code Management and why should you care?

If you are running a “repeatable business” or a “project business”, you are dealing with code – code that might be a one-off or code that you use for hundreds of customers. So how do you manage this code (even if it’s just for one customer)? Do you try to structure your code per developers or per project? How do you make sure that every developer is using the same internal best practices – do you manage development best practices or not?

This 75 minute web session will explain in a very practical way the virtues of managing your source code. Source code, CFMD’ed or not, is about one of your most important assets: Intellectual Property. So how do you manage your Intellectual Property?

This session will also show you how you can train your developers in a consistent way – when one of your developers leaves your company, you will still be able to read (and understand!) his/her code.   

We will end with a basic demo to show you how easy it is to manage your source code.
