As if there’s not enough for community leaders to talk about at the MVP Global Summit, today marked the release of Microsoft Windows 8 Consumer Preview and Visual Studio 11 Beta.  We caught up with Silverlight MVP Michael Washington, Beth Massi, a senior program manager for Visual Studio, Visual Basic MVP Andrew Brust, and Jay Schmelzer, a principal director program manager for Visual Studio, to talk about the role community plays in the development and ecosystem of Visual Studio 11 and what’s new in Visual Studio LightSwitch.
