Silverlight 4 GDR3 now live

The Silverlight team is pleased to announce that the Silverlight 4 GDR3 is now live on Microsoft Update and Microsoft.com. Users will get the update when performing update scans over the coming weeks and all install redirections from websites that feature Silverlight applications will point to this new version.

This release adds many enhancements in response to customer feedback including:

  • Improved performance for time-critical client interactions through reduced network latency
  • Improved stability and resource utilization through better memory management.
