Framework Vs Library

Came across a discussion on Joel's site about frameworks and libraries. This discussion goes hand in hand with this wonderful book that I had started reading Framework Design Guidelines : Conventions, Idioms, and Patterns for Reusable .NET Libraries . I am sure it will help me in developing or designing a better framework for the GMP space.
