Microsoft opens first U.S. Innovation Center in Miami

Today Microsoft announced the launch of its first-ever Innovation Center (MIC) in the U.S.

But just what is the MIC? These centers are state of art technology facilities for collaboration on innovative research, technology or software solutions, and involve a combination of government, academic and industry participants.

There are now more than 100 Microsoft Innovation Centers worldwide.
