I am please to share with the readers of this blog that Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 is now available. https://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/vs2005/get/ has the details on how to get this. If you had been using a previous release of this product, pls make sure you read the un-install instructions on https://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/vs2005/uninstall/

This build will work great for device development for both Native and Managed development. The Help about will show Beta 2 40215.45 as the build number for Beta 2.
