Q&A: Automatic Update of Relational Data

Q: A customer asks... Your video tutorial on How to Bind Data to Controls on an Excel Worksheet is a good video. But I can't manage to get the automatic update of relational data to work. I'm using the Dec CTP and duplicated your steps to the letter. I have to take care of the updating of relational data in code. Is this support still planned in some pending release?

 

A: I didn't test this code in the December Community Technology Preview, so it might be that that particular version did not have this functionality in the Data Sources Window. This should be supported in the upcoming release of Beta 2.
