Released version 20190708

Introduction

Version 20190708 for Power Automate portal is now available in all regions. This article describes the updates, including the new features, and the fixes to existing functionality, which are included in this update. This version was first made available in preview on July 9, 2019, and completed worldwide rollout on July 19, 2019.

Support for guest users in approvals

Before, approvals could only be sent to other people in the same company, which is problematic for many businesses because processes often span organizational boundaries. Now, approvals support sharing and assignment to people in other organizations.

This is enabled through support for Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) guest users—approvals are still in the original organization, so that they can be managed by their tenant administrators. However, users from other tenants can be invited as guests and then assigned roles, giving them the permissions to participate in processes.
