Introduction

Version 19.11 for Make.PowerApps.com and App.PowerApps.com is now available in all regions. This article describes the updates, including the new features, and the fixes to existing functionality, which are included in this update. This version was first made available in preview on May 20, 2019, and completed worldwide rollout on June 5, 2019.

Enable Common Data Service connector to select an environment

Canvas apps will be able to choose the environment when using the latest Common Data Service connector. The connector currently only uses the current environment where the canvas app is deploy. The current environment is useful for apps that are built and run in a single environment or apps that migrate through environments for development and production. This feature will enable a maker to optionally choose a specific environment which is useful for referencing a separate existing environment within an application. In this case the datasource does not change when the app is migrated to a new environment.
