Introducing New Certifications for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Functional Consultants

If you’re reading this, you are most likely considering expanding your skills with a Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification. Not at all surprising given that year after year, Gartner positions Dynamics 365 as a Leader and Visionary in their Magic Quadrant matrix. To meet that need, we’re launching a series of role-based certifications designed specially to showcase your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement skills. All Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Functional Consultant certification paths begin with the same prerequisite exam: MB-200: Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Core (in beta now). This exam validates your ability to use the infrastructure that Dynamics 365 sits on, as well as your ability to test, deploy, and integrate tools such as Power Platform. After you pass the core exam, you can specialize to earn any of these certifications.

Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 for Sales Functional Consultant Associate

If you’re passionate about helping businesses clarify and operationalize their selling process, this certification is for you. You can earn this certification by passing Exam MB-210: Dynamics 365 for Sales(in beta now) and MB-200. This certification validates your skills in converting business requirements to comprehensive sales solutions and in designing Dynamics 365 for Sales solutions, reports, and processes that allow your client or business to transition from operating on-premises to operating in the cloud.

Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 for Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate
If you’re looking to build CX solutions that are fast, agile, and imbued with the power of AI to drive actionable insights, this certification is for you. You earn this certification by passing Exam MB-230: Dynamics for Customer Service (in beta now) and MB-200. This certification validates your ability to design solutions that follow the customer experience lifecycle and that anticipate customer needs, allowing your client or business to continuously improve service with less effort.

Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 for Field Service Functional Consultant Associate

If you’re interested in configuring resources, incidents, inventory integration, service agreements, scheduling, work orders, field service user roles, and field service settings, you should take Exam MB-240: Dynamics for Field Service (available on March 31, 2019). This certification confirms that you can implement solutions that manage the field service lifecycle, configure the Field Service application, deploy the Connected Field Service (IoT) solution, and implement additional customizations. Take MB-200 today so you’re one step closer to earning this certification when MB-240 is released.

Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 for Marketing Functional Consultant Associate

If you understand marketing principles, priorities, common initiatives, standards, methodologies, and best practices, then consider taking Exam MB-220: Dynamics for Marketing (available March 31, 2019). By passing this exam as well as MB-200, you’ll validate that you can implement solutions that attract and convert leads, build brand awareness, standardize omnichannel messaging, and deliver marketing insights. This certification will also confirm that you can configure and expand the core marketing application in Dynamics 365 to include email marketing, setup, and interactive customer journeys, while maintaining General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance. Take MB-200 today so you’re one step closer to earning this certification when MB-220 is released.
