Remarks
Returns the value for the hexadecimal character or codepoint. The value is: <ul> <li>(ch - '0') for '0' through '9' inclusive, <li>(ch - 'A' + 10) for 'A' through 'F' inclusive, and <li>(ch - 'a' + 10) for 'a' through 'f' inclusive. </ul>
