DataGridView.OnAutoSizeColumnsModeChanged(DataGridViewAutoSizeColumnsModeEventArgs) Method

Raises the AutoSizeColumnsModeChanged event.

 virtual void OnAutoSizeColumnsModeChanged(System::Windows::Forms::DataGridViewAutoSizeColumnsModeEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnAutoSizeColumnsModeChanged (System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewAutoSizeColumnsModeEventArgs e);
abstract member OnAutoSizeColumnsModeChanged : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewAutoSizeColumnsModeEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnAutoSizeColumnsModeChanged : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewAutoSizeColumnsModeEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnAutoSizeColumnsModeChanged (e As DataGridViewAutoSizeColumnsModeEventArgs)

The value of the PreviousModes property of e is null.

The number of entries in the array returned by the PreviousModes property of e is not equal to the number of columns in the control.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnAutoSizeColumnsModeChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnAutoSizeColumnsModeChanged(DataGridViewAutoSizeColumnsModeEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class' OnAutoSizeColumnsModeChanged(DataGridViewAutoSizeColumnsModeEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
